The eye sparkle. The heart eyes in front of Jack Crawford. The fact that Hannibal sent Will after Tobias AND THEN WAS TERRIFIED HE’D MADE A MISCALCULATION AND KILLED TOBIAS IN PREEMPTIVE REVENGE. The emotion in his voice. The forgetting to pretend to have been newly traumatized by a murderer attacking him in his own home and smiling up at Will. The levels of petty that lead to this moment. THE DRAMA.
