Red Riding Hood / Hannibal  Au

“The wolf lives right here. In this village. Among you. It is one of you.”
Legends tell of a creature who lives in the woods. There are whispers, no one who has seen it seems to be back to tell in person.
The last years have been quiet, the occasional disappearances were dismissed as random incidents but when young Abigail finds traces of fresh blood in the woods, worries start spreading again around the village. While the city is in turmoil, Bedelia got more curious about the new mysterious guest her father invited home. The Du Maurier manor is well guarded, the residents are safe in there, still, Bedelia can’t help but to go around outside the borders. She knows she shouldn’t be in the woods alone but sometimes it’s her only way to feel free, a place where no one judge her for who she is or for who she should be. Days get darker and strange things start happening around the village. While she helps Abigail recovering from her traumatic experience, Bedelia might be the one who’s closer to danger. She finds out the city hides more secrets than expected and Bedelia will soon realize that a wild beast can’t be tamed as well as the heart’s desires can’t be controlled.
